FAQs
-
At Naeven, we make personalized infant nutrition simpler and more accessible. Our goal? To help families like yours find the right nutrition solutions, tailored to your baby’s needs. This is covered by insurance and most parents pay $0 out of pocket.
-
At Naeven, we work with Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs).
Our RDNs are experts in pregnancy and pediatric nutrition. They help guide parents through every feeding decision—from pregnancy to baby. All are nationally credentialed, hold advanced degrees, have passed rigorous exams, and stay current through ongoing education, including our in-house Bootcamp.
We also partner with IBCLCs to offer personalized support for breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, and everything in between. -
They’re not the same. The term “nutritionist” isn’t regulated—anyone can use it, with or without formal training. A Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN), on the other hand, is a licensed health professional who has completed an accredited degree in nutrition, passed a national board exam, and maintains certification through ongoing education.
At Naeven, we work exclusively with RDs—so you can feel confident you’re getting expert, evidence-based support tailored to you and your baby.

That depends on when you join us — but we’re here for the whole first year. Most families benefit from around 8 sessions, spaced from early pregnancy through baby’s first birthday. We cover everything from prenatal nutrition to feeding plans, formula transitions, and solid food introductions. Plus, you’ll have access to on-demand support anytime you need guidance, reassurance, or a quick gut check.
-
Yes — in most cases, it is. Naeven is in-network with major insurance providers including Blue Cross Blue Shield / Anthem, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, and more. That means most families pay $0 out-of-pocket for care.
We’ll confirm your insurance coverage before your first session.
We also offer the Naeven No-Surprises Promise:If your appointment is denied by insurance, you won’t be charged for any sessions you’ve already had.
If there’s a copay or coinsurance, you’ll never pay more than your estimate — and we’ll notify you right away.
If your visit applies to your deductible, you’ll have two options:
Continue care through insurance and pay your deductible, or
Skip the deductible — we won’t charge you for past sessions. Future sessions will be available at a flat rate of $150 each.
We believe infant nutrition support should be affordable, transparent, and stress-free.
